Confronting my pain

What is pain?
What is to accept?
Why should I accept?
I need to let go.
Let go of my past.
Something that existed
But it’s not coming back.
This is what I choose.
The path I took.
Follow it.
Handle it.
Run, run away, it’s what I know.
Empty, emptiness is what I feel.
Tomorrow what will I be?
Who will I be?
Light, where is my guiding light?
I look around everything dark.
Strength, where has it gone?
Weakness it’s taking over my soul.
“Relax, Relax” is what they say.
"Don’t overwork your fragile heart".
But since I can’t avoid this trial.
I will not be at ease for a while.
And strange enough my sore heart,
It’s telling me from deep inside
That everything it’ll be all right.

this has a great tempo in it, wich shows the emotion in it, the way you repeat somewords, helps it flow a little bit faster, I dunno if this is what u wanted to do, but its an excellent write all the same |

The words are really well chosen! The ending:
'And strange enough my sore heart,
It’s telling me from deep inside
That everything it’ll be all right'
Is really great! I like this one! |
