What You Made of Each Other

Contributed by xDeex on Friday, 9th January 2004 @ 11:10:18 AM in AEST
Topic: AnniversaryPoems

Despite the doubts and troubles that you've had,
There is no doubt at all about your love for each other,
Through many changed partners,
You've found each other and chosen to stay,
In doing so, you've given us a picture to live by,
More beautiful than any meal ever cooked or dreamed of,
More purposeful than any three point shot,
Ever made in the last seconds of a basketball game,
More wonderful then any outfit ever worn,
So much you've gives us of time, money and concern,
Which counts less then what we've seen,
As you two have striven to make your lives a lesson,
That one-day we might learn from,
We're grateful for the things you two did and are doing now,
But even more, for what you made of each other.

It sounds as though you have a lovely family. You are blessed and I enjoyed reading your poem.
