My Repose

Contributed by jacquelynne on Friday, 9th January 2004 @ 10:14:02 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

You destroyed my soul
with your need to control
you took my softly scarred heart,
and slowly ripped it apart
You couldn't see
everything you did to hurt me
I hid my pain
for I was so ashamed
of what I let you do
I should've waited for a love more true
I gave my best love
but for you it wasn't enough
You took my shining blue eyes
faded them, to a gray winter sky
And now my life is so cold
as I wish to slip into a deep repose

I enjoyed this. It reminds me of many a young maiden. That is why it is called the maidenhead. It is a gate to bar until the real love comes. Unfortunately it seldom happens that way.

Aha, your little poem on our seperation. If we hadn't of made things up on Sunday I would be typing a really nasty comment right now. I really hope that you don't actually bear those emotions. So for you folks that want to know what bastard did this, it was me. Send me hatemail, f*ckers.
