I look forward,
But I am facing toward my past.
I stand here
Longing for peace,
Yet waiting for death.
Sleep will not come to me,
Except for in small doses.
I lie awake,
Staring at the ceiling.
I close my eyes,
She does not fade,
Nor does my love for her fade.
Even in the thickest fog,
Or murkiest water,
There is no escaping
My love for her.
I am merely a slave
To this life,
Yet, she is a beautiful princess,
Whom I am not worthy to love.

Dude, you sound like you are in pain. I know what that love is like, just keep at it man. maybe one day. If not, you could always shave your head and become a monk :) |

I love the simplicity of the theme in contrast with the seriousness of the message... this is poetic ride on with it... I love this |
