I have been away for far to long leaving was not my intention
I had to return to the life I once knew of lies and deception
To feel again was a scary reality I wasn’t prepared to face
I needed to run, hide from this thing called human race
There you were waiting for me you never left my side
With sadness in your heart but the emotion you did hide
Open arms you took me in without a hesitation
Forgive me Lord I cried to you in total desperation
Forgiveness child yes you said for all eternity
Home at last with my Lord my King forever happily

I dont really particulary like the blocky format of poems cos it just slows down the tempo, but thats my own opinion, and should be ignored, because critising is wrong, otherwise I see where your commin from, and Its a great poem netherless
