Painful Memories

Topic: SadPoetry

We spent all our time together
Making my life with you so much better
We were young, careless and happy
Doing the things young people do
So when it came to be serious, naturally
A couple we grew, as everyone knew
We both became a part of each other’s families
Making sure we were all accepting, wholeheartly
Finally after six years of dating, to be engaged
We set a date making it possible on permanent pages
It was beautiful, my first wedding
All done in light blue, and white lace setting
Just a small gathering, nothing much
Didn’t want that all glory of the fancy touch
How I do remember that day
It will be those times and before, I’ll remember before our disarray
I take marriage so sacredly, forever it means to me
However after the December of 97 Holiday spree
I stopped loving you. My husband physically hurt me
I was in shock, in disbelief, of what you forced
To this day, you still don’t have any remorse,
You broke my heart and spirit
I didn’t think this would happen to me, or hear of it
I tried for two years after to put myself all together
Not easy to do, going thru a major surgery
Still thinking I could try and love you, be light as a feather
But it would be like committing purgery
WE lived not as man and wife,
But a platonic relationship in a lot of strife
Trying to not let family know of what life we lead
Heck, how could you tell, we led a life of dread!!
I couldn’t take the strain of being in the same place
So I had to leave, even though I wasn’t ready
I was fearful I would do a regretful event that would be a waste
So I left him with the house, appliances, and furniture, nothing petty
I did ask one more time, if you had anything to say
Only to hear your NO said again, so I left, off to hope and pray
Now its two half years after I’m left, wondering if I’ll be good enough
For anyone who wants an ole fashioned gal,
Retaining morals and values, wants more then just a guy pal.
But the life I had led, left with scars, although it hurt
I know this is what I’m to learn; sometimes the past makes you feel like dirt.
I’m moving on, hoping to not make those same mistakes of my past
Hoping and praying my heart and soul can last
It’s not suppose to be easy, I know
Perhaps a day, I can again, my life will truly glow.

Is it possible for you to seek another lawyer? If so do it this lawyer you have sounds like he is working with your husband instead of working with you.
I truely do hope the best tor yu Rose and hope you find that glow again some day soon, it is very hard to get on with life after your soul has been crushed believe me i know i have been ther one too many times. Although now life is different at least i hope it soon will be as i have found a man that knows how to love from his soul and i hope in time yu find a man that can love you with all his might and all his soul which is what you rightly deserve.
love peace and happiness to you.
