Prison Without Bars
My arms ache to hold you just once again
My mind races at the thought of your voice
My eyes tear at the possibility of viewing your face
My voice sings out praises to you
My heart heals at the thought of your return
My legs would run miles to find you again.
I’m in a prison, but yet there are no bars,
Yet I haven’t the strength to escape.
