I just want everything to dissappear
So I don't have to pretend
Pretend to be something I'm not
Pretend to be something they want
I'm sorry I can't pretend anymore
It's just to tiring
I can't go on pretending
because if I continue I'll break
I'll break down inside and out
I will let people down
I pretend because it's what they want
It isn't for me
I need to stop pretending
I need to start being me
I only continue
Because that's what they want me to be
I continue because people are proud
I wish they could just be proud for being myself
But I don't see that happening
So I'll just continue pretending
Hopefully one day myself can get out
So people can see the true me
And be proud.

This is a great poem, yet again emotional. Best thing about all yall is that your all intune with your emotions, I have yet to find an emotionless poem, just written for the sake of being a poem, and when I do...
Anyway great write, and people should be proud of you for writing such poetry with incredible passion and emotion |
