I'm broken and shattered
torn and tarnished
burned beyond repair
my soul is unsalvageable
while my body glows in perfection
my heart has been misled
proof of that
drips in the tears I always shed
Outside I smile and laugh and play
inside I scream and cry
for all the things I'll never have
shine all too brightly in the eyes of others
And in their eyes i see
their laughter,
they are tormenting me
they see
all my pains revealed in my eyes
they see it all
how I try to hide my cries,
and that I'm broken down inside
That I'm, broken and shattered
torn and tarnished
and burned beyond repair

A feeling I know all too well, but seldom have I seen it phrased so elegantly. I loved this one.
