For All Lost Souls

Contributed by karoody on Thursday, 8th January 2004 @ 05:20:50 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Watch closely as I fade
Before my spark dies
She shall shed light on the truth
Too many of us walk through life
Dwelling on yesterday
And eternally unaware of tomorrow
Is it that we fear what we do not know?
We remain uncertain of what a moment brings
Until it is past
So we focus on moments lived
Hoping to find an answer there
Wasteful creatures are we
Looking back for solutions
Only to find the questions of yesterday
If only we looked forward
We would see that in our final resting
These questions no longer matter
Move forward...
Even if you never find what you seek
At least your mind can rest
Knowing you tried

A very thoughtful write..most of us may not find what we seek..but atleast we can rest
knowing we are tired..so..rest gets us re-charged with some power..:o)...venkat

WOW!! Bravo hun! Bravo I say!!

That is wonderful advice. Shedding the past is harder than it
sounds though. If we do not look back we are doomed to make
the same mistakes. (And some of us do anyway. We continue to
get hurt and are anxious to feel the sting of familiar ache, the
moment it leaves us, it seems.) We need to look in the direction we
are moving, however, or we'll just keep running into things. lol

GREAT write hun! Your work is so inspirational!

*hugs hugs*
