You don’t know who I am,
But you know me.
You don’t know my true feelings for you,
If only I was brave enough to make you see,
I’ve watched you from a distance,
Making sure not to slip,
When you come around me,
My heart beats at a faster clip.
I follow your every move,
I can get lost in your eyes,
I notice how the last guy treated you,
How I can almost hear your cries.
You walk with beauty,
You talk with grace,
Your looks make me lose my thoughts,
I want you to see my love, yet I leave no trace.
When you turn and look my way,
I try to look busy, hoping you did not see me stare,
Around you my heart starts to heat up,
I don’t think you know how much I care.
I would give you my heart and soul
Just to let you know you are the one I adore,
Let you know, that you are the special person
I've been searching for.
