Your roses were pink, My violets blue
Your roses died, My violets grew
They stayed so close, shared there all
Thats when your roses drooped to fall
Those flowers i thought were forever
And when they died, they'd die together
My violets are standing all on their own
Your roses gone my violets alone
Your roses were pink, My violets blue
Your roses died, My violets too.....
