Take a Bow

Topic: InspirationalPoems

Who am I?
What is the purpose of my life?
I need to know
I need to find out
I may have failed sometimes
But I'm no failure
The true man is hiding inside of me
I've got to set him free
I'm tired of this pain and misery.

One day at a time
This mountain of life I will climb
Tomorrow is not guaranteed
Today I must make certain this man is freed
I know inside me is a hero
Come on out, take a bow, this is your time
No more will I bow to circumstances
It's time I took some chances.

I've known love and I've known pain
If it was up to me, I'd do it all again
I know how to love
I know how to heal pain
With all my heart I will always love
And keep doing it again and again
Love and happiness awaits me
The true me is yearning to be free

Come on out, your time is now
You're the hero of the story
Take a bow.
