depressed,lonely,confused,unloved
looking for affection,finding it in the wrong places,getting hurt,thinking its love
drifting from place to place
hiding in the shadows
getting lost in the darkness
wanting out but to scared to leave the shadows
waiting,watching
finally the moment comes to step out
to leave the darkness and shadows behind
no longer depressed or lonely or confused or unloved
finally finding happiness
finally finding love
no longer hidden
slowly getting brighter
the wait for true love and happiness finally over

The entire story of a person revealed with few words, yet with poise..... The poem has a direct quality like that of storytelling. Makes it seem as if you're giving an account of the things that have happened (which you are, but..... well, you know what I mean....lol)
