Scared to start over
Knowing you feel the same
Past emotions and relations
Adding complexity to the game

Over analyzing every action
Trying to read between the lines
Of a story not yet finished
Skipping paragraphs at times

Without distorted vision
I want to read the tale
From a book that’s not quite open
That shall never be for sale

Funny how the past always seems to color the present...in some ways, we just never seem to heal. If only we could love with our heart and leave our brain out of it. Good write Sandeye!
