After a period of social unrest
Fall in line for some more duress
Pay your government all it's fees
Now it's off to fight the Iraqies
And if you see the end of the war
Your friends will surely not
But that's ok, let freedom ring
Until your next chance to be shot
Oh great government
With your vast policies
Grant me my will to chose
Or show me a future for what I had to lose
Show me the good I have yet to see
Show me what your war has done for me
And show me why I fight a war
I had no knowledge of before
In times of peace
We let all slide
And lose ourselves to ourselves
Until the next to come and say
"The time is now, it's time today."
And reassure us with false pride
