As she danced in the dust
with long ago
I heard the Cicadas call
To the grass below
Bending the b flat string
till my fingers bled
The warmth of rosewood
close to my head
We were ‘One__
the guitar and I
Picasso smiled
with a tear in his eye
The Dying Bull in Mile’s horn
My Orchestra of sadness
had been borne
We played to an audience
of just one
A special recital
from my Mothers Son
Curtains of Lace
with breeze took sway
Time was forgotten
on that warm Summer’s day
Now snow has fallen
on my bare window sill
Memories are all I need
to warm this Mid Winters chill

Very good write.
We also have our putors that is we don't loose our elcetric. So far our Winter here in Arkansas we haven't had much at all but it's subject to change any time.
We have a saying here, if ya don't like the weather, stick around it will change.

very well done i was touched by the bittersweetness...and am now taking guitar lessons understand the fingers part too well..
