our hearts are rendered helpless as we watch
their bodies become lethargic and useless before our eyes
people become tired or our cries and pleas so we turn silent
they eventually turn their backs and walk away
once more we cry the silent tears
we know not where to turn no one can help
they say that we begin to sound like a broken record
but they cant seem to wear our shoes even one day
they dont hear the repeated phrases day in day out
once more we cry the silent tears
people dont realize what you tell them is forgotten 5 min later
or everytime you slip from sight they panic
there is so much we deal with everyday
that most poeple shy away from too much to bear
once more we cry the silent tears
they fail to realize this disease doesnt care
today it is us but tomorrow may be them
we try to tell them we try to warn them
before it is too late and they become one of us
once more we cry the silent tears
