Your words caress me,
Flowing around me like a sinful lover.
Touching my mind and soul.
You bring peace to me
With your closeness,
I am lost without you.
Many a man has died for you,
But they are not forgotten,
They are enshrined in immortality.
You convey the meaning and history of man.
Our life,
Our reason for being.
You are my reason for existing,
You are the power of my mind,
My body,
My pen,
You are my poem.
