May all of the good things be yours,
Along with other half indoors,
Let all your wishes come true,
From day one the whole year through.
Keep smiling even if they go wrong,
Start singing that well known song,
Stick your chest out, don’t hide,
Always look on the bright side.
You know you can do it if you try,
Don’t be negative, never give a sigh,
Stand tall, think big, be strong,
Never, ever, believe you are wrong.
I know that this will be your year,
I’m telling you so you’d better hear,
Good fortune will walk in the door,
Raise a glass all, to the year 2004.

Uplifting and inspirational. I know I would toast good fortune and leave my door open.
What a great attitude to begin a new year. Loved your poem.
