KISS, BABY, RING, HIDE !

I wish those were My babies you had!
I’d have been a good father and made them all glad.
I would have loved them all through and through,
In much the same way that I also love you!
I wish those were my babies,
That you had!

I wish that was My ring on your hand.
Oh how I wish I had been your man.
I’d have put you on a pedestal high,
And then worshiped you till the day I would die.
Oh how I wish that was My ring,
On your hand!

Oh how I love your kiss on My lips.
And to feel the gentle touches from your fingertips.
In all I can say, and all I can do,
I will live life my dear to please only you!
Oh how I love your kisses,
On My lips!

If only I had been the one with the ring,
That was placed on your finger,
So my heart could then sing.
I’d have loved you and pleased you
And loved those same kids.
And as a husband and father,
I would never have hid!
