To Know Me
No one understands me,
The way I want to be understood.
Most wouldn’t try,
Even if they could.
Contrary to opinion,
I’m an open book.
Ready to be read,
If you’d only take a look.
My heart is ripe for the pickin,
My mind is open wide.
So knock at the door,
And welcome yourself inside.
To know me, is to love me,
So give this boy a try.
Stop and take a look,
Before you pass on by.
