Then and Now

Contributed by Kmily on Friday, 2nd January 2004 @ 05:23:31 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

I miss you more than ever before,
You're the one that I truly adore,
Why did you have to go?
The answer to this I'll never know.
There isn't anything I wouldn't do,
I'd give up my life to be with you.
We were closer than ever,
But you passed on and I can talk to you never.
Your personality was absolutely the best,
I can't come to terms with you being laid to rest.
I was sarcastic and so were you,
That's what made us the perfect two.
How much longer will my life last?
The only joy I can find is you in my past.
No one else will do, not a Mike or a Kevin,
I hope WE, are that "match made in Heaven".
