Kindly miss, please hold my back,
Of warmth and love there is a lack,
My wife has fallen off the track,
Around the bend, she's on attack.
It happened New Year's Eve, you see,
Too much vodka, reverie,
She told me then, she had a he,
A better guy than little me.
Tell me what I aught to paw,
Hold me tighter while we jaw,
We'll form a plan two, o, o, four,
Make sure it's legal, check the law.
I'll give her house and car and fish,
A Capo De Monte serving dish,
I'll ask her if she has a wish,
From anything to heated knish.
I must protest, she had her fun,
For you and I, it's time to run,
We'll set a path for life home-spun
We'll build a barn and doggie run.
How many twos combine with booze
They meet each other, start to snooze,
They get together, no one rues,
Even kids who else cares whose?
A little fast, it may not last,
It all depends who's in the cast,
Don't be surprised, don't be aghast,
I will not tie you to a mast.
So, hold me tight, all thru the night,
We'll marry later, when we feel right,
As long as SHE gets out of sight,
Leaves us be and does not fight.
Our chances are, as good by far,
As any other, without a mar,
If life's a game, we're hitting par,
Or, get a genie from a jar.
Tell the fake we're due a break,
Get a wish for winner's stake,
I can see, you take the cake,
A life together we can make.
Hang on the hook, I have to look,
You ARE the wife that I foresook,
There's no one else, by gosh, gadzook,
A pure mistake that I mistook.
Listen here, there's no more beer,
If you will wait, my head will clear,
I then will wish you happy cheer,
I love you, dear, for one more year.

Dear friend Norm.
What a wonderful poem of revolution.
Is this your last poem before you enter the institution?
I surmise, without any eyes...you're in a lot of trouble.
Lay off the beer....for another year....or get a double!
Lots of laughs....thanks norm
