Little Whore

Contributed by CuttersAngel on Thursday, 1st January 2004 @ 01:45:32 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

My mom is a whore
My dad is a drunk
I don't go to school anymore
Every grade I've flunked
Mom isn't here, dad's at the bar
What little money we have has to go far
I have no job and I'm eighteen
I look in the mirror, my future is seen
I live with my parents, I'm not on my own
No car, no friends, not even a phone
I walk the streets, pretend I don't care
I wear ragged clothes and messy hair
My dad hits my mom, leaves several scars
Then he takes the keys and drives off in her car
She goes back to the streets, looks for another guy
Her job and life is just one big lie
The ending to this is very true
Mom are you proud, I'm just like you.

so is there someone you know that's going through that?

"mom are you proud. I'm just like you."

Great ending..
I don't usually like rhyming poetry..
but damn that ones pretty intense..

keep it up..
peace ...
