To want, to wait, to wither
To gaze at, but not to touch
To dream about, without hope of reality
To need, without cause or basis

Openly I confess my intentions
Openly assuring my control
Openly attempting to seduce
Openly fishing for your toll

Though still you swim so near
Though still not close enough to grasp
Though occasionally gazing at me
Though still managing somehow to capture me instead.

Clever little men...
Let me know your secrets!
