Behind the smile,
I feel nothing,
But a hope as black as an empty night sky
Strolling among desolation
Holding candle close
To my chest amidst the howling wind
Morning dew clings
Soaking my socks
And makes my feet ache with cold
Soon welcomingly numb
The Whispering Leaves
Siren song strays me from the path
I wander far
Among the trees
Clutching my candle against the dark pit ahead.
