Face In The Mirror (part 3)

Contributed by Cynthia on Wednesday, 31st December 2003 @ 06:49:30 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I reached for the candle that was sitting on the sink, looked up and saw the face in the mirror. I ran for the door, swung it open and ran down the hall.

I screamed out to my friends.
There was no answer.
I headed into the livingroom, where my friends lay sleeping.
I flung the blankets off them.

"OH MY GOD!"

There was blood.
Blood everywhere.
I ran out into the hallway, snuck around the corner and looked for something to use as a weapon.

I found a bat behind a door.
I heard footsteps.
Coming closer, closer.
I peeped around the corner.
Nothing.
The hall was an empty shell.
I turned around.
There was the face.
The face in the mirror.

I took the bat and swung it as hard as I Possibly could.

WHACK!

The body dropped to the floor, like a dead weight.
I knelt down tosee if it was still alive.
I noticed the face was a mask.
I pulled up the mask, to reveal what was underneath.

I jumped back, let out a loud scream and dropped to my knees.
The face that was under the mask, was my best friend.

hmmm... loved it till the friend under the mask part.... maybe you could continue it and have it be a ghost posing as the friend, {my original thoughts were it was a ghost} made me very sad, made me wonder if the person telling the story {you lol}, was really the true killer, yup, i would definatly suggest you go on and make a twist to it, great writing tho, wonderful images in all three parts so far:) hugs n' love nessa
p.s. happy new year!
