Shadow of Loves Lie

My tears fell on your icy heart and thats what caused the snow
But now that it is melting will the pain inside me show
I often wonder if I moved too fast, Or is love just too slow
Someone take my hand lead me, I'm lost as to where to go

The sun is finally shining in the window at my side
But even the brightest sunlight can't dry the tears I cry
Your shadow left on me when you took my inocence in your lies
If only I'd of seen my pain when I first looked in your eyes

So tell me where is this heaven, god says we can go
So tell me where is his strength when I'v fallen this low
Where is he now for his love it does not seem to show
For the pain on my heart from him is bestowed

He isn't here to help me through, no longer at my side
To busy fixing the world to answer my many crys
No longer in his light I stand, in the shadow of loves lie
I give up on love and life to dreams I say goodbye
