A love at first sight it was not,
A gradual thing it was more.
Subtle feelings came appearing,
Overwhelming was soon how I was feeling.
You love me too,
Was what I thought,
But it turned out that you do not.
I hate you,
For doing this to me.
For you kept on misleading me.
You made me fall,
With assurance that you'll catch my drop.
I fell,
But you weren't there anymore,
Not even close at all.
