For many dark years,
Thousands of miles kept us apart,
Two soul mates drifting alone,
Two sad and broken hearts,

The big question is why?
Why did the journey take so long,
Why all those lonely nights,
Crying to the radio’s sad songs,

Maybe it’s wrong to ask why,
Acceptance is the key to peace of mind,
Cause, when you stop searching,
Then your treasure you will find,

I consider you a gift from heaven,
Your smile sings a love song,
Together our hearts are unbreakable,
The stars in your eyes, guide us along,

Yes, the journey was a long one,
But good things come to those who wait,
Even after two years now,
I can remember how nervous that first date,

I dedicate my life to you,
Your soul is my breath,
My ring symbolizes our bond together,
My pure love, ´til my death.
