I drink,
I smoke,
I fornicate and gamble,
They'll bury me
With cancer in my liver
Black holes in my lungs,
Fluff in my pockets
A smile on my face
And two fingers frozen in rigor mortis.

Lol. I liked this. I got an odd sense of humor so I found this funny. Ecspecially the last lines if it meant as I saw it. |

I wish I could go along with the illusion here but having watched my uncle Albert die slowly oh so very slowly of what, in those days, we called "consumption" (same as TB)but it was more often lung cancer caused by smoking............The memory pervades my mind.
Almost every family had photographs on the mantlepiece (1930's) of cousins aunts and uncles that were killed by tobacco. Consumption was a word only mouthed, never spoken.
I'd like to go along with you all on this bit of black humour but I just can't see the funny side.

I dont smoke it was poetic licence, tobacco has taken the lives of my family 2 its a crime that is legal to smoke purely so governments can tax addicts. |
