Sitting and waiting feeling the autumn chill,
Watching the deer trail across the next hill.
Wondering what it's like to be free,
Wanting him to love me.
Now I sit and cry in the brush,
Missing his comforting touch.
Arrow nocked and ready to fire,
I can only concentrate on my desires.
As I wonder what's in store,
Tears stream even more.
Doing nothing but staring,
Reminiscing how he once was so caring.
Remembering how he once treated me with dignity,
Now he's distant and fading from me.
