The one thing I cherished,
Has all but perished.
Lost the one thing I cared about most,
He acts distant and cold like a ghost.
He fails me so often anymore,
I'll never get up off the floor.
Now he leaves me there, torn,
Treating me with vengeful scorn.
We used to be so tight,
Everything was right.
We'd do things together,
Birds of a feather.
The one thing I cherished,
Has all but perished.
