Broken Home

Contributed by Stephen_Rutherford on Monday, 29th December 2003 @ 11:33:46 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Why is this happen to me
Why can't anyone see
The pain that it causes inside of my heart
When the fighting is about to start
My home is falling apart
Mom why do you yell at me
Dad Why can't you be happy
The pain that you inflict
What's making you conflict
I hear you two screaming
I sit in my room Dreaming
that my life was perfect
but I guess it is all about to surface
As you hear the gun shot from down the hall
I wonder if you'll even care at all
as you bust open the door
and see me on the floor
As my life is slipping away
all I just wanted to say
is that I........... LOVE...........YOU

I lived in this kind of situation my entire growing up years, this brought me chills. Then I turned around and got involved in the same situation only being married. There were gunshots at my house but it was not me. I see these pictures vivdly. I hope that your not planning on picking up the gun however!
This is a hard situation to live in this I know. You told of your feelings powerfully here.
Michelle
