A Boat and Its Anchor

A boat just sailing by the wind, is lost without its anchor to keep it settled. Wondering around, looking for a place to stop, waiting for the anchor to release. The boat keeps going as the anchor stopped half way, as if is was waiting for the right spot to settle the boat to an easy rest. Days pass and the boat is still wandering about. Finally the anchor is all the way down and the boat is finally settled to an easy rest.
...If you didn't understand what I was saying... I wrote about me, how I'm lost without the one I love. In other words, I am the boat and he is the anchor.
