words fly through my mind constantly never stop
i put them together and they sound like music
but when i need them they all hide from me
how do you find the words to say i miss you
if this is how i feel in my world what about hers
she goes from day to day never any difference
christmas went by with only five minuets of recognition
people are born people die in her world no difference
how alzheimers can take the care away is sad
if this is how i feel in my world what about hers
at first i was angry at her indifference to life
but then i realized her emotions were gone as we know
she goes through the motion but that is all
her emotions now come as fear and anger
if this is how i feel in my world what about hers
love is constant companionship someone the hug be there
where we can relate love to a whole bunch of things
they can only relate to personal needs no desires
warmth, hugs, feed, sometimes sleep that is their world
if this is how i feel in my world what about hers
