my hours have shifted since momma came
housework is done as time is available what a change
i do what i can rest of the time is devoted to her
she begins the search when i go from her sight
what is housework what is delayed mess what is alzheimers
your life is completely altered for them
it is no longer your life but theirs
they no longer possess logic as we know it to be
there is no concept of day or night dont try to explain
what is housework what is delayed mess what is alzheimers
i was once an organized individual or so i thought
but now when you walk through the door i guarentee nothing
i still get pangs of guilt when i see the mess
it only last a few minuets or two then is gone
what is housework what is delayed mess what is alzheimers
her world becomes more interesting as the days go by
she is still looking for her mother and dad
im her friend even when i try to be her daughter again
on bad days i miss my previous life whatever that was
