I cry out for you in the darkness awaiting you to rescue me from the pain
How could my heart hurt like this, how could I be made to feel like this again
Why can't you find me in the darkness that holds me down so much
I don't ask for no more than your sweet love or your touch
Will you help me get my feet back on solid ground as you mend my broke soul?
Teach me how true love is and try to make my heart whole
The darkness is all around me and still I cry out to thee
Why can't you see how much I love you, why can't you see?
