scrape and whir in the stillness
the ignition refusing to engage
the conversation is one sided
my cursing steamy breath
against cold steel
this woman against machine
frustration spilling like blood
ragged attempts to repair
some unseen damage
useless waste of time
phone ringing in the background
angry little noises in my head
throwing things with indignation
temper on the loose prowling
for a victim to blame it on
steaming rage now tempered
by a calming tone of voice
he knows how to handle me
puts the tiger in her cage
the engine purrs when he turns the key

Hmm... I wish a CERTAIN SOMEBODY knew how to handle my tantrums instead of fueling them. Oh well, people suck. Good write though, I enjoyed it.
