Proofread, Dear editor
My words might not be to clear
Sue me, Mr. Senator
I write in words for you to hear
Subdue me, the mask I wear
Never before have I felt this fear
Cue me, the words are there
On the screen but none to share
Write down all the thoughts I think
Before I am the victim
Of a non artistic rat fink
That makes the system
Allow the hippiecrite to speak
His words of wisdom
Give it around about a week
And then forget them
They turn the stories right around
Never what you wrote
Although they haven't heard the sound
Of the words you spoke
For an interview they'll hound
But write only half your quote
I think I'll stay an underground
Unknow to famous folk

Good write and so very true. Sometimes better to be unknown than known for something they twisted |
