Disapointment

Everyday I try to show you how much I really care.
Everyday I try to hold you, but you’re never there.
Through blank lines and false lies you tell me you cant.
I’m the least important to you, my significance of an ant.
Why can’t I be the one you call?
Why can’t I be the love in which you fall?
It must be your blank lines and your shallow statement.
They keep me blind to all your selfishness.
I’ve toiled over it for too long. I need you to show me love, to show me you still care.
Give me that hope you promised. Don’t let it slip to thin air.
Don’t do this to me anymore, replacing my hope with sorrow.
Why can you make an attempt? You just say, “I’ll call you tomorrow.”
But you never do, you never do.
You only take, with loving lost through.
You never show me I’m the one you care and long for.
You never give me the chance, leaving me longing for more.
Please, we must make changes. Give me hope for what may be in store.
Prove to me that I’m more important
Than your lies and lost echoes of supposed regret
Prove to me; help make me forget

Man I can understand what you are getting at here. I had a friend who made me feel so similar to what you are discribing here. Show her the poem if you can't tell her how you feel. You have to sort it out before it gets worse. It got worse for me...just hope it won't get worse for you. Good write. Take care.

I felt your frustration the whole time I was reading the poem. Yeah, you definitely should show her the poem. That way you'll be sure she knows what you're getting at. |
