HEAL MY

Contributed by emystar on Saturday, 27th December 2003 @ 10:05:55 PM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

Feeling vibes from
sacred ancestors
that roamed hills-n-valleys
of my Zanadu.
It's a place where only
peace-n-luv
can survive!

Oh Sweet spirits heal
my broken soul.
Let me feel
freedoms touch.
Beat drums of peace.
Smoke this pipe with me.
Let me hear buffaloes dance.

Oh sweet spirits heal
our land.
Enrich our soil
to grow
great crops of luv.

Oh Grandfather
I never knew
Reach out
to fallen man
Bring abundance to
hearts-n-souls.

Oh cheif Indian spirit
teach me thy ways
that we might
preserve all u
died 2 protect.
Let peace rule our
land
this precious
holy ground.

Dedicated 2 my deceased
Grandfather
Marshal Deleware McCool
I never knew u but I
always felt u watching
over me.

My great great grandmother was full-blooded Cherokee. My grandfather told me that the day I was born she came to him and said she would always protect me. I feel she always has. Occasionally I feel her and know she is there. She comes to me in dreams. The Indians were a wonderful generous people whose lifestyle was raped and pillaged. One day in the great land above we will all be together again. Emy, this brought tears to my eyes as I know the feelings you feel. Beautiful, my friend. Rita

Emy this wonderful........thank you for pointing it out to me, for I wouldn't want to miss it!
Your poem, like a prayer......asking for justice
and comfort for all those that suffered, to heal the land, and I love the way you speak of he sweet spirits! There are bad and sweet spirits involved here. The day will come tho when they will be given back their land a hundred fold!
Wonderfully writtten poem, Emy, I really enjoyed it
You can be very proud indeed!
love you
