The Christmas lights have faded
My soul is meek and frail
Christmas is as common as
A mythical fairy tale
The Christmas lights have faded
As is the light inside my eyes
From the tears that flow from them
Ceacelessly
Thine eternal light is dim
My candle; held dearly to my heart
Taken into the dauntless abyss
Your whispers have blown it out forever
I am forsaken
Alone and cold in the nothingness
That dwells inside your soul
The Christmas lights have faded
As is all other light known to me
I transform my strength from piety
The secret light hath forsaken me
Waylayed am I in the cold depths
No miracle will avail to me
All chances of aid have fled from me
Why have you forsaken me?!
I tread the paths of darkness with thee
I listen to all of thy lies
I beleived that there was still hope left
Yet all chance of hope is nigh
