Do you ever feel yourself so depressed you forget how to live?
Do you ever wonder if you truly are all alone?
Do you watch other people and wonder what their lives are like?
Are they really better off than you?
Do you find you learn to hate so easily?
Do you find you have few friends due to jealousy?
Do you find you hate even your best friend?
Why should they be happy when you suffer so?
Do you ever wish you were someone else?
Maybe living in another state, another body?
Do you ever wish you were an animal instead?
Do you agree their lives seem much less complicated?
Do you sometimes feel you live in a box?
No windows, no doors, no escape.
Do you feel others can come and go as they wish?
Do you feel trapped, entangled, in the mess?
Do you hate my writing as much as me?
Would you even notice or care if I posted no more?
Do you think even I really care what you think?
If you say yes, than I would have to agree.

I love the first line!! And last stanza excepted, I have to say yes... I've felt, wished, and wondered all those things at some point or another, especially lately. Great write, don't you ever quit!

I love inquistive poems. I love instilling questions in the minds of others as I write along--and I love more than anything else knowing that they've found the answer I've been looking for.
