when the family chain is broken
loves ones forced to part it leaves behind an empty space
and many broken hearts
our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same
but god will call us 1 by 1
and join the chain again

for a young one of seven....this was marvelous! Perfectly nifty thinking for a young one that age. I started writing poetry at seven myself...but I've always loved writing stories...so mine was about a grasshopper and how he shed his skin.
I really enjoyed this fine poem....keep doing it over and over again....You have talent my friend.
