An autumn gust takes away the shine
Of a summer’s golden days
The leaves fall, like the joy of children
Who long for the times blasé
The multitude of colors,
Falling to the dark, damp land
Is like the hopes of all the ones
Being crushed by mother nature’s hand

Absolutely Beautiful....the words in this poem
really touched my heart. The imagery was fantastic as well....I could not only see it in my "Minds Eye!" I could feel it as well....
My what talent you have.....use it well....and to the enjoyment of us all!
Lovingcritters.....I love fall....but I've never written anything this lovely before....what a great poem you write.
You should write a poem for every season. Capture it like this one...was real!
