SUNSHINE INTO THE LIFE OF OTHERS

Contributed by lovingcritters on Wednesday, 24th December 2003 @ 08:16:03 PM in AEST
Topic: ThankYouPoems

"Those who bring sunshine into the lives of
others, cannot keep it from themselves!"
Shari, I hope you felt the warm feeling of
Sunshine I felt around my heart......as I read
your loving poem from the very start!
I can barely write this through my tears.

I've written poems since I was seven,
that is exactly 60 years!
I've written poems that were happy,
and many times sad.
I've written poems to bury my classmates,
and to defend a friend because I was mad!
I've written poems about my
Loving Little Critters 6.
Poems about love, poems about those
I recognize from above.

I've been mentioned in poems before,
But never Shari, did a poem about me
ever come through my door.
I didn't mind, I was concentrating so much
on writing for others,
I completely forgot about me!

Now, you have written a beautiful poem just for me,
and now I can feel how everyone felt when
they received my poetry.
I wonder dear friend, if it meant as much to
them as the one you so lovingly
composed for me?

Your kind words will be carried in my heart
until there is no longer a beat!
Thanking you so much for your kindness.
but most of all because you wrote a poem
about little ole me!

'Twas a marvelous treat, Shari!
I humbly thank you....for such a thoughtful feat!

Warm Love and Great Big Hugs

how could you ever leave
a site where you are
shown love every
day, in every way!"

This is a beautiful write. In my opinion you are both deserving of respect and honor from all at this site.
