Dripping Heart

Contributed by carebear on Wednesday, 24th December 2003 @ 03:44:12 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Dribble…Dribble…
Spinning around
Fast like the wind of a storm
Falling on the floor
Shattering like a vase
Dripping heart
From the hurt of a lost love.

Dribble…Dribble…
Listen
Can’t you hear her cries?

Alone in a darkened room
On the floor is where she lies
Drenched in her own tears
She awaits the return of her lover
But in the darkest corner of her mind
She knows he is gone forever.

Time passes by so slowly
Her heart grows weary and weak
The more she cries
The faster her heart dies.

Dribble...Dribble...
Listen
Can't you hear the dripping of her broken and bleeding heart?

Heartache that hang's from above
Pain slowly stabbes her heart
Dripping blood all over.

Dribble...Dribble...
Winter cold air frezzes her
Body & soul ice
Words that were s'pose to said
No longer have the chance to get
Out, warmth of the sun settels her
At in harmony in her own heaven's
Of peace that lay her to rest.
