I'm not right

Contributed by TheVarsh on Wednesday, 24th December 2003 @ 12:31:14 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I think of myself as perfect
Why then do I snap
Why do I get mad at
Little things that my
Most cherished person has
No control over
I speak sternly
And she sits and stares
She's crying on the inside
But her pride is too much
To show that she is in pain
So she takes my attacks
And buffers them with love
She could leave
And go be a princess if she chose
But she stays
And takes my crap
I don't deserve her
I'm not right for her
I'm not right for myself
I'm not right...

Now now now...you can't talk yourself out of this one as easily as that.
